		<description>Great article.
oxygen is vital for our health as you say, &amp; so many of us are so unaware &amp; uses shallow breaths (not breathing properly)
I think correct breathing has many other essential benifits.
1: helps us to focus our mind (aiding our concentration)
2: keeps our lungs that little more flexible (especially for smokers &amp; aging)
3: allowing muscle groups to re-invigorate (great when/before/after exercising or stretching)
4: calming effect (helps with mental issues)
5: aids in controlling bodily shock symptons (ie: adrenalin rush, the nervous shakes in confrontations, etc:)
I also believe that it aids longivity, physical health, &amp; slows down the effects of aging (with the correct mental attitude)

I hope that you didn&#039;t mind me posting my views but all of the above I practice ongoing, even to the extent that I mentally focus the oxygen of my deep breaths towards any aches in my body that I may incur during my activities (mainly through not taking the time to stretching adaquately before my activities (on occasions))

Regards.
