Exercises For Toning Legs

Most people, when doing exercise, tend to focus on the core in order to get into shape.

However, for complete body fitness, you should also focus on leg toning exercises.

For those who are looking for great legs, here are a few exercises that can help you to tone your leg muscles.

Leg lifts

Lie on the floor or exercise mat on one side of your body by positioning your head, feet and hip along the edge of the floor.

Now, angle your legs on the floor or exercise mat so that you create an open L position. Ensure that you press your other hand on the floor in front of your body for support.

Now start your exercises by lifting the leg facing the roof just above your hip height and hold it there for a few seconds.

Slowly, by lowering your resistance, bring it back to the original position.  Repeat it very carefully 15 times or more according to your body’s ability.

Thigh exercises

Lie on your back on the floor or exercise mat. Now, keep your left leg raised up in the air in a straight position and hold your thigh with your hand.

Now, slowly try to pull your thigh towards your face and don’t raise your head or back while pulling your thigh. Repeat the same procedure with each of your legs 10 times or more if your body permits.
