Eyes are the essential organs present in your body.
It is necessary to protect your eyes with some exercises.
These eye exercises make your eyes healthy and also help to improve your vision.
But, you have to follow proper measures while performing these exercises.
To perform this eye exercises you have to sit comfortably on the chair by rubbing your two hands together until they feel warm. Now close your eyes and cover them lightly with your cupped palms.
Don’t put much pressure on your eyeballs. Place your palms in such a way that the eyes remain behind the slight hollow of the palms and the nose remains uncovered.
You have to make sure that you have not given any gaps between fingers or between the edge of the palms and the nose. You have to cover your eyes in such a way that the light rays should not enter your eyes.
Now imagine deep blackness and the focus on the blackness by taking deep breathes slowly and evenly.
While performing this, think of some happy incident or visualize some distant scene. Remove your palms from your eyes, your eyes see nothing except blackness. Repeat this process for one more time.
In this eye exercise close your eyes for 3 to 5 seconds and open them for 3 to 5 seconds. Repeat this process for 8 times.
In this eye exercise first you have to close your eyes and massage them with your fingers by moving them in circular movements for 1 to 2 minutes. [Massage Therapy]
Press the three fingers of each hand against your upper eyelid by holding them there for 2 seconds and then release. You should press very lightly otherwise your fingers may hurt your eyes. Repeat this process for 5 to 6 times.
Sit and relax on a chair. Now slowly roll your eyes in a clockwise and anticlockwise direction. Repeat this process for 5 to 6 times and try to blink between each time.
To perform this eye exercise you have to sit about 200mm (6 inches) away from the window. Make mark on the window glass at your eye level (a small sticker, red or black will be perfect).
Now look through the mark by keeping focus on some far away object for 10 to 15 seconds. Then focus on the mark again. Repeat this process for 4 to 5 times.
In this eye exercise, you have to hold the pencil in front of you at your arm’s length. Now move your arms slowly to your nose and follow the pencil with your eyes until you cannot bare to keep it in the focus. Repeat this process for 5 to 6 times.
Sit in front of the wall and pretend like you are writing something on the wall with your eyes. You must not turn your head while performing this eye exercise. You may feel difficult for the first time, but it will be fun with a bit of practice.
