Wrist Strengthening Exercises Can Relieve Tennis Elbow Pain

According to a new study, strengthening the arm muscles can help ease tennis elbow pain.
Researchers have found that wrist strengthening exercises can lower the symptoms of tennis elbow; the more the workout, the better the results.
The tennis elbow condition is caused by the muscle contraction repeatedly when a player hits the ball, leading to inflammation in the tendons around the elbow joint.
In a small American study, patients were asked to work the wrist using either a short flexible bar, or regular weights. Those using the rubber bar had to bend it into an upside down U-shape, providing a harder workout.
